During 3-7.01.2005 , in the school development project with the title “Tomorrow’s School Today “ , English courses were organized for teachers, thus offering everybody the possibility to take part in this programme. The first module included English courses for teachers, later being intended to organize English courses for teachers as well as for the parents of primary classes students. The first group of teachers included a number of 9 teachers of different specialities : History, Drawings, Religion, Romanian language, Technology, French language and Counselling. The textbook as well as the auxiliary material used for the English courses was ENGLISH FILE, from Longman publishing house.The course supposed the usage of different pedagogical methods such as : intensive and extensive listening, matching, fill-in exercises, drills and controllded practice, reading and writing. The class organization was individual, in pairs or groups. |
